The crown jewel of Palmetto Dunes golf. This par-72 layout features the famous 10th hole — a par-5 that runs along the Atlantic Ocean, consistently ranked among the most scenic holes in American golf.
Designed by George Fazio
A tighter, more strategic layout that rewards accurate ball-striking over power. The Fazio course winds through Palmetto Dunes' natural lagoon system and mature tree canopy, offering a quieter, more contemplative round.
Designed by Arthur Hills
The most recently redesigned of the three, the Hills course blends modern design sensibility with Hilton Head's natural landscape. Wide fairways and generous greens make it the most approachable of the three, while still offering plenty of challenge.
Insider tips
Tee times book up fast in spring and fall — reserve at least a week in advance during peak season.
Cart rentals are standard. Walking is permitted on all three courses but the distances between holes can be significant.
The Ocean Course 10th hole is best photographed in morning light. Arrive early for your round if you want the best conditions.
